State of web development technology 2010

Which tools are hot and which are not for web developers in 2010? A recent survey conducted by John Allsopp, with support ofthe WebDirections Conference and Scroll magazine, tries to clarify just that:

The goal of this “state of web development” survey is to try and look behind the statistics, and get a sense of the philosophies and techniques, as well as the technologies, that web designers and developers are using today. Over time, hopefully we’ll be able to track changes in how web professionals design and develop for the web.

The survey also sports a nice little graphic, that shows the actual main trends of web developers in short.
