Interview with crealytics’ CEO Andreas Reiffen

In an interview with Germany’s Online Marketing News our CEO Andreas Reiffen talks about innovations in Google AdWords, how paid search will develop and how the industry is changing.

I have been observing two trends for some time now. On the one hand, paid search is more and more distancing itself from keywords, while at the same time drawing nearer to automation. Google’s Dynamic Search Ads or Shopping as well as semantic technologies are examples of that. […] On the other hand, display and search are more and more merging with one another. Google will not only factor in the keyword but also the target group. With RLSA (Remarketing Lists for Search Ads) audience targeting is already possible today. With this new dimension, ad budgets can be used even more efficiently. (Andreas Reiffen)

One company, 1000 competences

One company, 1000 competencies. In keeping with this motto, nearly 70 crealytees from all different departments joined this year’s company outing to Frielendorf, Hesse. Press release: crealytics receives mid single-digit millions €

New financing round: crealytics receives mid single-digit million amount for further international expansion and development of its semantic PPC technology “camato”.

The PPC advertising technology company crealytics successfully secured additional growth capital and receives a mid-7-digit capital injection from ALSTIN – Alternative Strategic Investment as new lead investor and its existing investors LBBW Venture Capital, High-Tech Gründerfonds, Mountain Internet, Bayern Kapital and the BayBG Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft. The company will use the new funds for the further development of its proprietary semantic Pay-Per-Click advertising (PPC) technology “camato”, as well as for further international expansion.

The strong growth and the international orientation of the technology company are the decisive factors for the contribution of the investors. With an average annual growth rate of over 145% since 2010, crealytics is the fastest growing PPC specialist in Europe. Already 60% of crealytics’ revenues are generated by international AdWords campaigns – and its customers include some of the world’s largest online retailers.

“With its unique technology camato and its very positive customer references, we believe that crealytics continues to grow strongly also internationally and will change the game in the global PPC ad-tech market”, stated Dr. Jörg Goschin, Managing Director of ALSTIN – Alternative Strategic Investment GmbH, the newest addition to the shareholders of crealytics.

The software differentiates itself from its competitors by its semantic approach, which enables the automation of a large portion of the processes and workflows in Google’s advertising platform AdWords. Users not only increase their revenue and reduce costs, but also save roughly 75 per cent of the usual time.

“We are confident that in the future we can fully automate PPC campaigns. Therefore, we will continue to invest in our semantic technology and internationally expand our business”, says crealytics’ CEO Andreas Reiffen, with regards to the financing round.

In addition to the financing round, a new advisory board will be supporting the management of crealytics GmbH. Chairman of the board is Prof. Dr. Andreas Pfeifer, former Partner and Managing Director of Accenture and individual shareholder of crealytics. Dr. Jörg Goschin, Managing Director of ALSTIN, and Romy Schnelle, Investment Director at High-Tech Gründerfonds, are complementing the board, which has many years of expertise and experience in business development and international sales for dynamically growing IT companies. To the delight of the management, they will assist the company in an advisory capacity with key strategic themes and issues.
