About this position
As a Java and Scala developer, you will design and implement new features and enhancements to our platform that require hard real-time constraints and elegant, yet powerful software solutions
You will work closely with other engineers and our Product team, to not only make these systems go faster and handle more and more data, but also to build innovative features for our clients
You will prioritize bug fixes to ensure critical up-time
You will work collaboratively with other engineering teams to ensure real-time technology integrates seamlessly with other pieces of the platform
You understand the value of thought-through test coverage and are responsible for implementing them for crucial system components
You have a relevant university degree and previous experience in a related field
You are experienced in Java and Scala as well as some of the following technologies: Spring, SQL, ElasticSearch, Docker, Kubernetes
You know how to build high performance, multi-threaded, distributed applications
You have experience with real-time data processing engines and low latency systems is preferred
You have experience in either AWS or google cloud
You are an engaged, self-motivated person with ability to work efficiently, both independently and in a team combined with strong communication skills
Prior experience in Ad Tech is a plus
