System Administrator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

  • You ensure that all our employees working at the Berlin and New York sites can operate their technology smoothly
  • You support the administration of our back-office IT, including Windows servers and clients, Linux servers, IP networks, Wi-Fi, E-mail, telephony (PBX/SIP), chat and much more
  • You apply your technical expertise to support your colleagues in their daily work in person, remote and via telephone
  • You take care of all technical requirements to make sure that your colleagues at all sites can work together efficiently and can easily move between offices
  • You install hardware and software and organize the supplies of technical consumables
  • You will be pivotable on general information security topics and consider these when implementing new features
  • You contribute to our Knowledge Base with relevant information
  • With your experience and knowledge, you bring yourself in to diverse complex IT projects that impact the whole organization

Your profile

  • You have solid education in Information Technology e.g. as a qualified IT specialist
  • You have experience in 1st, 2nd and ideally 3rd level Support or Full System Administration
  • You have good knowledge in heterogeneous client/server structures like Windows, Linux and Mac
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory and are keen on working with a ticketing system (Jira)
  • Ideally you bring experience in managing Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud-based services
  • You speak German and English on a fluent level, both written and spoken
  • You are a natural problem solver, always considering how to do things differently and you attempt to solve problems without close supervision
